Retro-looking cameras are so in right now companies are even coming up with ways to make actual retro cameras look more retro. Anchors and Anvils is a camera accessories manufacturer that refurbishes classic 35mm film cameras.

The California-based company does all the work in house by hand, and they take each old camera apart, clean it, oil it, and calibrate the internal components before working on the aesthetic overhaul. In addition to the cameras, Anchors and Anvils also sells handmade leather straps and hot-shoe covers.
A lot of the revamped cameras are sold out at the moment, but some will be back on offer soon. There are several classic rangefinders from the 1950s and 1960s with revamped mahogany-paneled exteriors: The Yashica Electro 35 with a 45mm F1.7 lens, the Minolta Hi-Matic 7S with a 45mm F1.8, the Argus C3 with a 50mm F3.5, and what looks to be an original Braun Paxette with a 45mm F2.8 lens. The world’s first consumer autofocus camera is also in the mix: The Konica C35 AF, with a 38mm F2.8 lens.
Prices range from $750 for some of the older and more-rare cameras, but there’s a $300-range sale going on for the Minolta Hi-Matic 7S, the Argus C3, and the Graflex Kowa Century 35. According to the company’s website, Anchors and Anvils will also do custom orders; they’ll even track down the old camera you want.
Pro Tip: Don’t forget to buy some film.
